Aimee really wanted to get married near where she had grown up in Devon. So the Berry Head Hotel at Brixham was the perfect location.
Perched on a low cliff overlooking the bay, this hotel had a lovely walled garden and the weather was just perfect.
Exploring around the grounds I was really tempted by what appeared to be a ruined kiln in the woodland. But sadly, wedding dresses and woodland don’t often mix, so I had to reluctantly abandon that idea (but I’m keeping it up my sleeve for the next shoot there.)
Trevor is a keen photographer, so I new I’d have my work cut out. And he and Aimee were great. Mellow and relaxed – even if nobody in the entire hotel knew how a cravat should be knotted.
