About me

I've been an avid photographer since my school days and have been photographing weddings for over 20 years, going professional in 2005.
Weddings and Portrait shoots are my bread-and-butter. I love them. I think its great to meet new people, exciting to go to interesting places and fantastic that people want me to photograph them looking at their very best on the most wonderful day of their life.
The reason I'm so passionate about wedding photography, getting the right look, the candid image, the apparently spontaneous moment captured beautifully? - because I wish the photos of our wedding day were like that.
And even with the likes of Photoshop, you still can't turn a blurred or poorly shot image into a fantastic photograph. The words about a sows-ear and silk purse might spring to mind.

So my goal is to take the very best photographs I possibly can.

Wedding Photography Gloucestershire

For your wedding photography Gloucestershire is a wonderful county.
Its full of glorious locations from stately homes to tiny chic venues. Open vales. The river Severn. Ancient woodlands. Manor Houses. Historic Castles.
Gloucester docks regeneration lends a whole new feel to that Roman city.
As a couple you really are spoiled for choice for wedding photography locations.
So get out an OS map of Gloucestershire. Go for a drive. Look around and find that perfect wedding venue.
Then ask me to shoot your wedding photography. You'll be glad you did.

Should I ask a friend to photograph my wedding?

Virtually all couples wonder this. After all, you could save £1,000's. Surely this is an everybody wins situation?

Just a few questions might help;
1. Have you seen a complete wedding set from the friend in question (not just the snaps he took whilst stood alongside a pro at a previous wedding)
2. Do you want your friend to be a guest at your wedding? Or just another employee?
3. Are you prepared for a good reaction if his snaps are less than you imagined?

You can probably think of other questions too...
